Alex Brody is a husband, father and serving US Marine. He is entwined in activities that are a construct of clandestine operator Ed Truman. Mortally wounded under instructions from Truman, Alex is saved by Truman himself.
Ed Truman has an agenda that would rupture the very fabric of ethical and moral boundaries, he uses Alex as a test subject in a controversial treatment at a black site in the United States.
