The inspiration for the covers of Carmyne's Journals is an English fabric pattern book from 1870. Colour differences in the material, a string of thread laying on the cloth: we designed this cover just the way we found the fabric in this one hundred and fifty year old sample book.
The paper of this journal is of the highest quality: 68 gsm TomoeRiver paper. The paper is precious and handmade in Japan after a secret receipe. TomoeRiver paper is exceptionally fountain pen friendly.
