Raven is erg geïnteresseerd in Rip. Maar deze adoratie verdwijnt snel als ze ontdekt dat hij helemaal niet zo leuk is als ze dacht en hij zich aan haar opdringt. Ze laat hem los, maar hij haar niet en als hij haar lastig valt is het de aantrekkelijke Vardon die in het opvanghuis van tante Esmee verblijft. Raven is erg onder de indruk. Maar is dit terecht? Het lijkt er toch op dat Vardon geheimen heeft die haar familie niet goed doet.
