In 2016 is het 500 jaar geleden dat Dirk Martens uit Aalst de Utopia van Thomas More op de drukpers legde van zijn atelier in Leuven. In Aalst wordt dat onder meer herdacht met de Podcast (E)Utopia... en dit nieuwe boek van Patrick Bernauw.
Eutopia/Blackout bevat zowel een essay over "blackout poetry" als een proeve stiftgedichten én gedichten die dan weer gebaseerd zijn op de blackouts.
De thema's lagen voor de hand: (E)Utopia, de vluchtelingencrisis, Parijs 13 november en dat andere wonderbaarlijke eiland... Atlantis.
