Anton wordt door zijn ouders naar een tehuis gestuurd. De enige met wie hij hier kan opschieten is zijn buurmeisje Liesje. Al snel hoort hij geruchten over misbruik door paters die hij eerst niet gelooft. Als hij bewijzen in handen krijgt dat het wel zo is doet het klooster er alles aan om hem tegen te houden.
