The night was over
yet I did not want to awake
could not throw off the death mask
to lovingly start the death dance
with tears on my tearstained pillow
Dancing in the depths of your eyes
still believing in the love I see
I am overcome with moving happiness
and again pull myself down from the chilly mountain
afraid to break the spell
