Het is 2022 en Ethiopië, het oudste land van het Afrikaanse continent, probeert op de been te blijven – gehavend door een oorlog, de coronapandemie en economische malaise. Op een oranje fiets begin ik mijn nieuwe thuis, Ityopya (ኢትዮጵያ), te verkennen, haar landschappen, regio’s, religies, culturen, talen, geschiedenis … en glimpen op te vangen van haar toekomst.
