Het Tigri-gebied, in Guyana bekend als de New River Triangle, is een betwist grensgebied dat zowel door Suriname als door Guyana wordt geclaimd. Het bevindt zich tussen de rivieren Boven-Corantijn (door Guyana New River genoemd) in het westen en de Coeroenie en Koetari in het oosten. Hoewel Suriname het gebied beschouwt als onderdeel van het ressort Coeroenie in het district Sipaliwini, wordt het sinds een militaire inval in 1969 bestuurd door Guyana, dat het indeelt bij de regio East Berbice-Corentyne.
