Generally speaking books on creativity are of two kinds. Those that tell us how to become creative by changing the situation, and those that tell us to become creative by changing ourselves. Then follows practical advice as to the ways and means in which creativity may be attained.
This series does not want to do either! By our very nature we are creative but more or less unaware of that. So instead of giving lots of practical advice, it questions our routine ways of looking and interpreting the world. By way of many different viewpoints, anecdotes and metaphors it aims at ‘YOU opening up YOUR mind' to your personal creativeness. It is the up to you to decide if you will 'unlock' it. Be it outside the box, inside the box, within or without the box, any way will do as long as it is your way.
The author leaves no doubt that the creative process can be learned and mastered. Once inspired you will open up your mind to your own talents. And what's more: you will enjoy looking beyond the obvious.
