Luk Gybels (Hasselt, 1961) is een Belgische haikudichter en schrijver. Met 'Focus op haiku' is hij al aan zijn zevende bundel toe, meteen zijn meest persoonlijke tot dusver.
"Ik was onmiddellijk geboeid door zijn soms luchtige manier van haiku's schrijven. Zijn haiku's zijn schitterende versjes met diepgaande kernen. Bij sommige moest ik eens goed glimlachen. Ze zijn echt heel spitsvondig, en ongelofelijk mooi. Echt een heel mooi geschenk voor jezelf of voor een ander."
