Tussen 1962 en 1975 was het stripblad Pep de bakermat van de Nederlandse strip en nu, zestig jaar later, komt Pep nog één keer terug als een 100 pagina’s tellend magazine onder de titel Pep Nu. Met nieuwe bijdragen van tekenaars die vroeger in Pep stonden, tekenaars die ermee opgroeiden en zelfs jong talent dat zich herkent in de unieke toon van dit unieke stripblad. Met bijdrages van onder anderen Martin Lodewijk, Dick Matena, Daan Jippes, Robert van der Kroft, Henk Kuijpers, Uco Egmond, Eric Heuvel, Milan Hulsing, Hanco Kolk, Thé Tjong-Khing, Paul Teng, Erik Kriek, Irene Berbee en Bob op ‘t Land.
