Na een aantal relatief rustige winters was die van 2011/2012 bijzonder stormachtig. Eindelijk kon maritiem luchtfotograaf Herman IJsseling van Flying Focus er weer op uit met zijn Cessna Skymaster om schepen te fotograferen onder de ruigste weersomstandigheden. Het leverde voldoende spectaculaire foto's op om een nieuw fotoboek samen te stellen.
