De kleine koning is heel eenzaam tot dat hij een meisje ontmoet om mee te spelen. Ze heet roosmarijn. Er wordt hem verteld dat een koning niet met gewone mensen hoort te spelen dus zet hij zijn kroon af zodat hij kan spelen met wie hij wil.
