Nijntje danst door het huis van blijdschap. Vader en moeder pluis hebben haar net verteld dat ze een broertje of zusje krijgt! Ze maakt vast een paar cadeaus. Als kleine pluis geboren wordt is nijn er helemaal stil van, want ze had niet verwacht dat het zo klein zou zijn. De volgende dag trakteert ze de hele klas op beschuit met muisjes.
