Hij ziet er zo onschuldig uit dit konijntje met zijn matrozenpakje aan. Maar het tegendeel is waar. Van 's morgens vroeg tot 's avonds laat haalt hij kattenkwaad uit. Tot hij zijn vader op een dag belooft een lief konijntje te zijn. Konijntje vindt het moeilijker dan hij dacht. Als hij zijn moeder 's avonds verdrietig aan zijn bedje ziet, maakt hij opnieuw de belofte een zoet konijn te zijn. Dat gaat een stuk beter, maar nog niet helemaal!
