Victor João da Cruz Fernandes, is a native of Daman and bore witness of the supposed Liberation by the Indian Union. A study reflecting the forceful occupation in which the people not conformed with the situation compelled them to emigrate to foreign shores where life would be more conducing to the way they lived for nearly five centuries without corruption, under laws and peacefully in harmony with peoples of various races.
