Allein das Wattenmeer ist schon für viele Touristen Anreiz genug, Jahr für Jahr wieder an die Nordsee zu reisen. Auch Hermann Gutmann war unzählige Male zu Besuch in Cuxhaven, und Bernd Schlüsselburg ist dem traditionsreichen Nordseeheilbad an der Elbmündung zu Hause. Mit dem Fahrrad, zu Fuß und per Flugzeug war er für diesen dreisprachigen Bildband in der Küstenstadt und in ihrer näheren Umgebung unterwegs. Quer durch alle Jahreszeiten hat er Land und Leute fotografiert - von Duhnen bis nach Helgoland.
