Alapahas are great guardians, being observant of their surroundings, alert, and protective. They are ever watchful over the family and home, along with the other companions which share the homestead. Being a breed that is submissive toward their family, they do not challenge for the alpha position. They are a fun-loving breed with a goofy side that will make you laugh and keep you entertained! Alapahas make loyal and affectionate companions.
