14-year-old Elysian suffers with anxiety as her professor parents spend the semester teaching in Buenos Aires. With support from her friends Lalo and Brandon, she learns to cope with the fears that take shape in her mind while also dealing with constant external pressures from her aunts and uncles about her lack of femininity.
