Inspired by medieval manuscript marginalia, this collection of contemporary drolleries was composed by John Digby as illustrations for whimsical books by various authors. They are collected here for the first time and presented with an invitation to reproduce, use, and transform them at will. The book includes more than 175 black and white collage drolleries with samples of the poems and essays in which they first appeared.
