Betty Lou has been writing poetry her entire life. She currently works out of her studio in Woodbury, Connecticut that she calls Poet's Portal. Her poetry is close to the bone. She recently participated in an event in celebration of Darwin's 200th anniversary that featured photos that inspired the poems in this collection.
