»Protection Against Dismissal for Whistleblowers in Change. Status Quo in Germany and EU Whistleblower Directive«:The EU Whistleblower Directive, which has come into force in 2019, is intended to establish a consistent and high level of protection for whistleblowers against reprisals in the EU. This doctoral thesis analyses the status quo of protection against dismissal for whistleblowers in Germany, discusses the new EU protection requirements and summarises the provisions the German legislator has to implement. Further, it comments on the draft of a German Whistleblower Protection Act (status: Feb. 2023).
