Daughters of Blencathra is the story of twin sisters - one an artist, the other a medical student - and their family in the Lake District, following a tragic mountain rescue incident on Blencathra. The book is inspired by, and dedicated to, the volunteers and supporters of the twelve Mountain Rescue Teams in the Lake District.
