Old grudges flare up when seven children and their Tibetan mastiff, Gangri Senge, follow a Han journalist into enemy territory on the Tibetan plateau in the 1950s. As the enemy tribe plots to punish the children for their forefathers’ crimes, it is up to Gangri Senge and the Han journalist who loves him to bring peace to the prairie.
