Vladimir Kotchsky, one of the most decorated KGB agents, his five fellow operatives, four of whom were fellow KGB agents, and a CIA agent, Christian Reynolds are on a mission that would change the world for the better. Vladimir knew Christian was an active CIA agent, having met him while both were conducting intelligence operations in Afghanistan ahead of the Soviet Union's invasion. Vladimir had recruited Christian to help him on a mission.
