As a result, fear greatly influenced his choices leading him to hide his gifts and talents, abandon his faith, and choose a smaller existence. A choice many make in these uncertain and challenging times. We struggle with fear and uncertainty and develop adaptive skills for protection that ultimately end up doing us harm - compromising our integrity, silencing our voices, and eroding our truth.
We're not born afraid. We're taught to be afraid each time we run into the fears and limiting belief systems of others. This knowledge doesn't relieve us of responsibility for our choices, but it does however beg the question - where do our fears come from? Or better yet, from whom do they come from?
