Three biomes are discussed in this book namely forests, deserts and grasslands. Chapter one includes a discussion of two types of forests - the temperate and the cool. The second chapter talks about the coastal, polar, interior and subtropical deserts. The final chapter looks into the hot and cool grasslands.
