Police veteran George Newton loves his work and the risks associated with it. His partner, Gene Wilson, dreams of becoming a criminal lawyer. As Newton and Wilson cruise the streets of San Pedro, California, looking for gang activity, they see a middle-aged gentleman sitting in a vehicle on the side of the road.
