Women play a prominent role in pro-democracy movements and contemporary revolutions around the globe. This book proposes a typology of women's participation in revolutions and demonstrates various motivations for their activism, their diverse forms participation, and the multifaceted gender outcomes, using the case of Euromaidan in Ukraine.
