Running With Bonnie and Clyde

The Ten Fast Years of Ralph Fults

Description

Kent Frates proposes a book that will, in rapid-fire fashion, cover about a dozen of Oklahoma's most notorious criminal cases. Primarily focused on the twentieth century, the book will devote a chapter to each case. Subjects run the gamut from the gangster era's Machine Gun Kelly to the brutal "Sirloin Stockade" murders in Oklahoma City in 1978. Frates will tackle political corruption as well in a chapter on the trial of Governor David Hall. Likewise, Frates will devote a chapter to the Karen Silkwood case. Ultimately, of course, the book will conclude with an examination of the most notorious case of all, the terrorist bombing of the Murrah building in 1995. See the author's proposal and annotated table of contents for a more thorough explanations of each case.
